FCCJ Employee Registration Information

WHO CAN ATTEND:   YOU… If you are a full-time or adjunct member of the FCCJ faculty or staff.

WHAT: Keynote presentations, plus workshops, panels, corporate exhibits, and 250+ presentations by faculty from throughout the world.

WHEN: Monday, April 14, 2008, 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. (Interactive Workshops);
Tuesday, April 15, 2008, 9:00 a.m. - 7:30 p.m. (Interactive Workshops and Reception),
Wednesday, April 16 - Friday, April 18, 2008 (Full Conference).

WHERE: Hyatt Regency Downtown Jacksonville (Conference events on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday) and the FCCJ Urban Resource Center (workshops on Monday and Tuesday)

WHY: Share effective learning strategies with colleagues; update knowledge in learning, motivation theory and research as applied to higher education instruction; view the latest in technological support of learning.

HOW: It's easy!

Step 1: Complete a Line of Duty Leave Form(Click here for an example of how the form should be completed.) This form must be completed even if you are not going to be missing work time so that the college will pay your registration, and must be signed by your supervisor and supervising administrator. Send the completed form to Jeana Davis, MCCS Room 272, by February 29, 2008. You may also fax your forms to 632-3289.

Step 2: Complete the online Registration Form.

All FCCJ employees (including adjuncts) are eligible to attend and MUST complete BOTH forms.

FEES*: Your fees are paid by the College through the Center for the Advancement of Teaching and Learning.

INTERACTIVE WORKSHOPS: Interactive workshops will be held at an FCCJ campus location. Full day workshops include lunch. Workshops have limited seating. Teaching faculty and those involved in course development who have not attended these hands-on workshops on campus or at an earlier conference are encouraged to register early.
