2011 Distinguished New Faculty Award

Sponsored by the International Academy for the Scholarship of Learning Technology, the Distinguished New Faculty Award is designed to pay tribute to new educators who are guiding the millennial students into the future. New pedagogical techniques and creative ways of thinking are needed to engage and motivate the students of tomorrow. Today’s new faculty are responsible for this challenge. This award is designed to recognize new faculty who are meeting this challenge by celebrating their current contributions to advancing education, and to encourage their future contributions to the teaching profession. Each of the persons listed below was nominated by her/his college or university and received the 2011 Distinguished New Faculty Award.
